Deseret Peak vs Tooele Football Rivalry
Strong
Deseret Peak opened for 2025-26 as the newest school in Tooele County School District, in Tooele itself.
How it started
Deseret Peak opened for 2025-26 as the newest school in Tooele County School District, in Tooele itself. Its first-ever rivalry game was against Tooele High on September 4, 2025 — the Tooele Transcript Bulletin called it exactly that: "Tooele and Deseret Peak squared off for a Thursday Night game, which marked the first rivalry game for the Golden Eagles."
The games that made it
One season old. Deseret Peak enters an existing three-school county structure — Tooele-Stansbury and Grantsville-Stansbury are both established — and makes it four.
Where it stands
Region 11.
What we could not find
Everything, by definition. This is a rivalry whose entire history the site can record from day one — which is worth doing deliberately.
