How it started
The only two public high schools in Beaver County, about thirty miles apart. The Hive Sports covered the game as the county rivalry it is; Milford's coach at the time, Thane Marshall, was a Beaver High graduate.
The games that made it
Milford reached the 2019 2A title game and lost it to Beaver 45-6.
Where it stands
Milford moved to 8-man and played in the 2025 UHSAA 8-Player championship, so this is a county rivalry the format split has ended rather than a live game.
Why they no longer meet
Milford now plays 8-man football, so the series is dormant.
What we could not find
First year played. Whether the schools intend to renew it as a non-counting game.
